New Orleans Square is home of two of the most popular rides in Disneyland: Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion. Bringing the mystique of the French Quarter to Disneyland in 1966, New Orleans Square was the newest land after Disneyland's opening in 1955 and the last that Walt Disney personally overlooked.
