| Crater Lake June 2005.
Crater Lake is known for its extremely high visibility -it's been measured at 144 ft (43.89m).
Since Crater Lake has no water inlets or outlets, it is believed to have contained no fish before William G. Steel stocked it in 1888 (the first recorded attempt to stock Crater Lake).
Of the six species that were introduced to Crater Lake, two remain: Kokanee Salmon Rainbow Trout
Fishing is allowed in all the waters of Crater Lake. | | <back | | next> | | |
